Manager - The Oaks: 

Brett McGuigan is Registered Manager of The Oaks. Brett joined our team in May 2021 as the Deputy Manager. Brett has 10 years' experience in the social care sector and has a keen eye for detail. Brett has a Level 5 in Leadership and Management and is the home trainer for Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Parkinson’s Disease, and Behaviours that Challenge and De-escalation.

Manager Plas-y-Mor:

Thandi Nkopo is Registered Manager of Plas-y-Mor, Thandi is a highly qualified and experienced RGN, and has completed  Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care Services. Thandi is supported by a highly experienced and skilled team of Nurses and Social Care Workers. 

Care Operations Manager

Sam Woodward  is our Care Operations Manager. Sam's job is to focus on quality matters. This means Sam will be focused on making improvements to Care & Support, Well-being, staff learning to name just a few, to further improve outcomes and well-being for our Residents. Sam supports both Thandi and Brett in the delivery of quality care services.

Both homes are supported by: Buildings team, Hospitality team and Administration team. 

Responsible Individual: 

Rachael Drew is the RI for Plas-y-Mor. Dr Christian Drew is the RI for The Oaks. Both of them undertake a series of duties which are set out in legislation including the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act. Both are fluent welsh speakers, and both have many years of management & leadership experience.
